Before you merge
Pages go into the new PDF in the order of the list, every page of the first file, then every page of the next. Use the arrows to reorder the files first; to reorder pages inside a file, split it, then merge the parts in the order you want.
Merging copies the pages but not each file's bookmarks, and fillable form fields may not stay fillable, so fill in and save any forms before merging. You can merge up to 20 PDFs, 40 MB in all. Files with a password can't be read until the password is removed.
Combine PDFs into one file in the order you choose: up to 20 files and 40 MB. No sign-up; files are never stored. The other PDF jobs (merge, split, compress, rotate, images to PDF and watermark) each have a page of their own.
How it works
- Add the PDFs — Two or more, up to 20 files and 40 MB in all.
- Put them in order — The arrows move a file up or down; pages follow the list, file by file.
- Merge — One PDF downloads with every page of every file.
Examples
- A contract and its signed pages — Put the contract first and the signed pages after it, and send one file.
FAQ
- Can I reorder pages inside a file? — Not while merging: split that file first, then merge the parts in the order you want.
- Are bookmarks and forms kept? — Bookmarks aren’t copied, and form fields may not stay fillable, so fill in and save forms before merging.
- A file has a password — It can’t be read until the password is removed in the program that set it.
