Turning just the pages that need it
Phone scans often have one or two sideways pages in an otherwise upright document. List only those pages, such as 2, 5-7, and leave the box empty to turn every page. Turns are clockwise: 90 is a quarter turn right, 180 turns a page upside down, and 270 is a quarter turn left.
The turn is saved on each page rather than redrawn, so text stays sharp, nothing is re-compressed, and the page opens upright in every viewer, not only the one you used.
Turn every page, or only the ones you list, a quarter or half turn; quality is untouched. No sign-up; files are never stored. The other PDF jobs (merge, split, compress, rotate, images to PDF and watermark) each have a page of their own.
How it works
- Add one PDF — A phone scan with a sideways page, for example.
- Choose the turn and the pages — 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise; list pages such as 2, 5-7, or leave it empty for every page.
- Rotate — The PDF downloads with those pages upright.
Examples
- One sideways page — Turn only page 3 of a scan by 90 and leave the rest as they are.
FAQ
- Does rotating lower the quality? — No: the turn is saved on each page rather than redrawn, so nothing is re-compressed and text stays sharp.
- Which way is 90? — A quarter turn clockwise; 270 is a quarter turn the other way, and 180 turns a page upside down.
- Will it open upright everywhere? — Yes: the turn is part of the PDF, not a setting in one viewer.
