FAQ

  • How fresh are rates? — Mid-market rates, updated every hour; the result shows when they were published and where they come from. They are the same rates Midrate FX uses.
  • Are fees included? — No. Banks and transfer services add a margin or fee; Check a quote above shows how much a quote really costs you.
  • How is the answer rounded? — To each currency’s usual decimals: two for dollars and rupees, none for yen. The rate is shown to six decimals.
  • Do you store amounts? — Our server keeps no amounts: it notes which currency pair was converted, with the time and your IP address as any website logs. This browser remembers your last pair and amount so the page opens ready; nothing is sent.
