About

What the app does.

Between appointments, small things happen: a skipped meal, a limp after a long walk, a cough at night, a pill given or missed. By the time you are in the exam room, the details are gone. Critter Chart keeps them, reminds you of every dose and visit, and hands your vet the whole picture as one clean PDF.

Everything stays on your device and in your own iCloud Drive until you choose to export it.

Key features

Built for the moments between vet visits.

Reminders that know the schedule

Turn on reminders from a medicine and the times fill in from how often it's given: twice daily is 8 AM and 8 PM, and every other day, weekly, monthly or once work too. Tap Given now when a dose is due, or snooze it 15 minutes; one gentle follow-up comes if a dose isn't logged. Routines such as walks and grooming can remind you, and the next vet visit gets a reminder the evening before and an hour before, with Add to Calendar. Quiet hours cover everything except medicine, Pause all stops them all, and medicine names can stay off the Lock Screen. Reminders are scheduled on your phone by iOS; nothing about them leaves it.

Log in a few taps

Symptoms with severity, notes and quick chips for the common ones. Medications as courses, with how they're given, a stop date, Today: 1 of 2 and Give now for every dose, one dose for several pets at once, and "Still giving it?" when a medicine has gone quiet. Weigh-ins in lb, kg or grams on an honest trend line that includes weights taken at the clinic. Home readings such as blood glucose, temperature and heart rate, charted over time. Vet visits with clinic, vet, reason, diagnosis and treatment, plus a photo or the clinic's PDF; groomer, farrier and dentist visits alongside. Quick date picks such as Last night or 3 days ago, because you rarely log in the moment.

Hand your vet the whole picture

Email to vet opens your mail app with the packet attached and the clinic's address filled in. Choose all time, 12, 6 or 3 months, since the last visit or any date. The PDF has a cover in your pet's color with their photo, an at-a-glance summary, a current medications table, your questions for the vet, a weight-trend chart and every entry in full, for one pet or the whole household. You can also send a pet's complete record to another phone, where tapping the file adds the pet.

Every kind of pet

Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, reptiles, fish, horses and more, each with their own color, photo and profile, and an exact birthday or just an approximate age.

Backed up without thinking about it

On iPhone and iPad with iCloud Drive on, every change is copied to your own iCloud Drive automatically. Delete the app or switch phones and Critter Chart offers to restore. You can also back up to a file any time.

Remembers the ones who have passed, and the ones who moved on

Mark a pet as in memory, or as adopted or rehomed if you foster. Their history stays, exportable and sendable, in its own section under your other pets.

Private by design

No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Nothing about you or your pets is ever sent to us; the only request Critter Chart makes is a once-a-day check for updates, which you can turn off. Your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud Drive, and leaves only when you export or send it. Export everything as CSV any time.

Owner-recorded information; not a substitute for clinical records.

Buying and refunds

How paying through the App Store works.

One price, once

When it launches: $5.99 in the App Store. No in‑app purchases and no subscription.

A new phone or your iPad

Once you buy it, the purchase will belong to your Apple Account. On another iPhone or an iPad signed in with the same account, open the App Store, tap your account picture, then Apps, and download Critter Chart again at no charge.

Refunds

Apple handles the payment, so refunds go through Apple: ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com (opens in a new tab). If something isn't working, tell us first at support@utilava.com; we'd rather fix it.
